La Fédération Québécoise de canoë-kayak d’eau vive est fière de vous présenter la Série québécoise extrême en eau vive. La série sera composée de 4 grandes compétitions en eau vive. Au terme de l’année, un champion pour la catégorie femme et un autre pour la catégorie homme sera couronné(e) vainqueur Québec. Ainsi classé, le champion homme recevra une invitation au biannuel Grand Prix d’eau vive, où les plus grands kayakistes du monde compétitionnent durant plus de deux semaines, dans l’une des plus importantes compétitions internationales de kayak d’eau vive.
The Quebec Canoe-Kayak Whitewater Federation (FQCKEV) is proud to present theQuebec Extreme Whitewater Race Series. This series will be comprised of 4 different whitewater kayak races around the province of Quebec, in order to crown an annual men's and women's champion. The annual men's champion will receive an invitation to the biennial Whitewater Grand-Prix where the worlds best kayakers meet to compete over two weeks in the hardest and most progressive international whitewater event.

La Neilson River Race une course de kayak de rivière intense et impressionnante.
Vous et votre partenaire affronteront 7 rapides de classe IV & V sur une distance de 3km.
C'est une course contre la montre pure et dure. Chaque équipe a une seule et unique chance d'enregistrer le temps le plus rapide. Chaque décision compte.
Le départ s'effectue avant le rapide des Gros-Yeux et se termine immédiatement après la Double-Drop.
Le départ et l'arrivée sont accessibles à pieds.
The Neilson River Race is the most bad-ass and intense annual race in Quebec.
You and your partner will race a 3km class IV+V section with 6 major rapids.
It is a pure time trial. Each team has one lap to enter their fastest time.
The race starts above Big Eyes rapid and finishes at Double Drop.
Both start & finish lines are accessible to spectators.

In celebration of the rivers and the recreational opportunities they provide to residents, the HOHW organizers with the support of our sponsors are actively working to minimize the cost of participation. We want to see people outside, enjoying the fresh air, exercise and excitement of paddlesports.
The Ottawa River is among Canada’s most historic waterways, a backbone for the development of our nation. The Petawawa is one of the few remaining whitewater rivers in “southern” Ontario that remains largely untouched; free of major dams, and any major industries as it flows from the heart of Algonquin Park. Let’s ensure that the recreational value of these rivers is more visible, and celebrated by the general public.
That is why Hell or High Water was born back in 2009, and now it has grown tobecome one of the largest whitewater races in North America.

Montréal Eau-Vive : C’est le 15 et 16 août 2015 qu’aura lieu la compétition Montréal en Eau-Vive (MEV). Cette compétition, qui était auparavant une des meilleures compétitions de kayak freestyle sur grande vague de la planète, est de retour. La compétition de Kayak d’eau vive a lieu aux Rapides de Lachine. Très peu de rivières se comparent en taille. La quantité considérable d’eau qui coule à une vitesse aussi rapide procure une sensation comme aucune autre rivière du monde. L’eau turquoise, le temps chaud et l’accessibilité, à seulement 15 minutes du centre-ville de Montréal, en font l’endroit idéal pour ce super évènement. Tout le monde est invité!
Montréal Eau-Vive will be held on the 15th and 16th of August this year. This competition, which has already established itself as one of the best in big wave freestyle in the world, is back for its second year! The competition will be held on the Lachine rapids in Montreal, a river which few others can compare with in size and location. The considerable quantity of water travelling down this stretch of the river provides and experience unlike any other river; the turquoise water is warm and its only 15 minutes from Montreal’s downtown, making it the ideal location for an incredible event, all ages and ability levels are invited!
